Como já tem acontecido mais que uma vez nesta viagem, fomos acolhidos por fantásticos anfitriões: a família Harrington foi absolutamente impecável. Uma grande casa, um jardim lindíssimo, dois cães amorosos (a Ana Teresa confirmou o seu amor incondicional por shi-tzus), e terminar o dia com um churrasco sumarento e vinho Neozelandês a acompanhar. A estadia perfeita.

No dia seguinte, fomos ao encontro do Thomas e da Annoushka, outros refugiados do inverno norueguês. Depois de uma sessão de surf com um pouco de ondas a mais, fomos comer uns incríveis mexilhões locais e beber umas cervejas. 

Com energias devidamente repostas e recuperadas, estávamos prontos para o dia seguinte, rumo ao paraíso marítimo de Kaikoura.

As has happened more than once on this trip, we were welcomed by fantastic hosts: the Harrington family was impeccable. A big house, a beautiful garden, two loving dogs (Ana Teresa confirmed her unconditional love for shi-tzus), and ending the day with a delicious barbecue and New Zealand wine to accompany it. The perfect stay.

The next day, we went to meet Thomas and Annoushka, other refugees from the Norwegian winter. After a surf session with a few extra waves, we went to eat some incredible local mussels and drink some beers.

With energy duly replenished and recovered, we were ready for the next day, heading to the maritime paradise of Kaikoura.
