Com o Tongariro Crossing fechado, tivemos que descobrir algo para fazer. Com um vulcão pressupõe-se atividade vulcânica nas redondezas, ou seja, fumarolas e águas termais. Perfeito! Passamos a manhã a passear entre fumarolas chamadas Craters of the Moon, e à tarde fomos tomar um banho quente numas águas termais. Ótimo para relaxar um pouco.

Era agora hora de irmos ter com outra refugiada do inverno Norueguês, a Sara! Incrível como do outro lado do mundo, num mês, já encontramos três amigos de Oslo. Novamente, o mundo é microscópico.

With the Tongariro crossing closed, we had to figure out something to do. With a volcano, volcanic activity is assumed in the surrounding area, that is fumaroles and hot springs. Perfect! We spent the morning walking among the Craters of the Moon, and in the afternoon we took a hot bath in hot springs. Great to relax a little.

It was now time to go and meet another refugee from the Norwegian winter, Sara! It's incredible how on the other side of the world, in one month, we've already met three friends from Oslo. Again, the world is microscopic.
