Neste episódio de BBC Austrália...

Começamos no Wilsons Promontory onde nos prometeram wombats, mas só encontramos wallabies. De noite vimos kookaburras faladoras e opossums esfomeados pela primeira vez. Nas praias procuramos os caracóis marinhos preferidos da Ana Teresa, sem sucesso... mas pelo caminho tiramos selfies com cangurus. A visita ao Kangaroo Valley foi desprovida do animal que o intitulou, mas serviu para ver muitos wombats rechonchudos e um bandicoot tímido. Em Brisbane os dragões de água apanhavam sol connosco nos relvados do jardim botânico. Em Gold Coast, não encontramos as sereias, mas no fundo sabemos que estavam por lá... Em vez disso, jantamos com um peru-do-mato. Por sorte dele, fugiu ao nosso prato.

In this episode of BBC Australia...

We started at Wilsons Promontory where we were promised wombats, but only found wallabies. At night we saw chatty kookaburras and hungry opossums for the first time. On the beaches we looked for Ana Teresa's favourite sea snails, without success... but along the way, we took selfies with kangaroos. The visit to Kangaroo Valley was devoid of its titular animal but served to see lots of chubby wombats and a shy bandicoot. In Brisbane, water dragons sunbathed with us on the lawns of the botanical garden. In Gold Coast, we didn't find the mermaids, but deep down we know they were there... Instead, we had dinner with a wild turkey. Luckily for him, it escaped our plate.
